Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Identify customer needs and provide product recommendations or solutions.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with empathy and problem-solving skills.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach to enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
- Sales and Performance:
- Set sales targets and work towards achieving them, either individually or as a team.
- Utilize effective sales techniques to upsell and cross-sell products to customers.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and take proactive steps to improve results.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional strategies to drive foot traffic and sales.
- Inventory Management:
- Ensure adequate stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
- Monitor product expiration dates and handle aging inventory appropriately.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and update records to maintain accuracy.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Visual Merchandising:
- Plan and execute attractive product displays to create an engaging shopping environment.
- Implement visual merchandising guidelines to showcase products effectively.
- Regularly update displays and store layout to highlight new arrivals and promotions.
- Store Operations:
- Ensure the store operates smoothly and efficiently on a daily basis.
- Supervise and train staff to provide excellent customer service and uphold company standards.
- Oversee cash management, including handling cash transactions and preparing daily sales reports.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store.
- Compliance and Security:
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with legal and safety regulations.
- Implement security measures to prevent theft and minimize store losses.
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business or retail management is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Sales-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management and visual merchandising techniques.
- Proficient in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer applications.
- Leadership qualities and the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the retail schedule.
